We received indication from Croydon Planners that they are content with the overall built form of our proposal. However, they said they would like to see the external material in brick. Our original scheme was clad in dark brown vertical tiles to be in keeping with the neighbouring buildings. But if Croydon wants brick, who are we to say...
After a frantic flurry of redesign from Francis Hur Architecture (FHA), we submitted a revised scheme in brick.


Really liking that saw tooth texture on the angled 45 degree wall. A clever move from FHA which resolves the 45 degree corner junctions and creates visual and textural interest. What do you think?
